Step 3: Courts

In this step, you will define the courts and their locations where the tournament matches will be played. You can also assign specific pools to courts (if applicable for Pool Play tournaments).

Adding Courts

1. Add Location Button

   • Click the “Add Location” button to open the court creation form.

2. Court Details

   • Court Name: Enter a unique name or number for the court (e.g., “Court 1”).
   • Address: Provide the physical address of the court.
   • Allowed Pools (Optional): For Pool Play tournaments, you can restrict the court to specific pools. If left blank, all pools can use the court.

3. Save Court

   • Once all details are entered, save the court to add it to the list.

Editing Courts

1. Edit Court

   • Click the settings icon next to a court’s name to edit its details.
   • Update the court’s name, address, or allowed pools as needed.

2. Save Changes

   • Confirm your changes to update the court’s information.

Deleting Courts

1. Remove Court
   • Click the trash icon next to a court’s name to delete it from the tournament.

Additional Notes

• Pool Play Tournaments:

  • Ensure all pools have at least one court assigned. If a pool is not assigned to any court, the schedule will be incomplete.
  • A warning will appear if any pools are missing a court assignment.

• Court Uniqueness:

  • Each court must have a unique name or number.
