Step 4: Scheduling
In this step, you will define the tournament schedule, including game times, dates, and constraints. The system will automatically calculate the number of matches, matches per day, and days required based on your inputs.
Scheduling Details
Earliest Game Start Time
- Set the earliest time games can begin each day.
- Required: Yes.
Latest Game Start Time
- Set the latest time games can be scheduled each day.
- Note: This time must be later than the earliest start time.
- Required: Yes.
Game Time (Minutes)
- Enter the estimated duration of each game in minutes.
- Required: Yes.
Max Daily Games Per Team (Optional for non-elimination tournaments)
- Specify the maximum number of games a team can play in a single day.
- Note: This field is only available for Round Robin and Pool Play tournaments.
Tournament Days
- Select the dates for the tournament.
- Required: Yes.
Schedule Summary
The system will automatically calculate and display the following based on your inputs:
- Total Matches: The total number of matches scheduled for the tournament.
- Matches Per Day: The average number of matches scheduled each day.
- Days Required: The minimum number of days needed to complete the tournament.
Additional Notes
- Extra Days: If you select more days than required, a warning will appear. No matches will be scheduled on the extra days.
- Game Time: Ensure the game time is realistic to avoid scheduling conflicts.
- Start and End Times: The latest game start time must be later than the earliest start time.
